S\u00e5 det er ikke muligt at tilslutte en ekstern GPU og bruge den som et prim\u00e6rt grafikkort. Vi talte sammen p\u00e5 kontoret og kom p\u00e5 en id\u00e9, der kunne g\u00f8re det muligt. Der er nogle skruer p\u00e5 bagsiden, som skal fjernes. Vi bruger ikke str\u00f8mforsyningen til at drive grafikkortet direkte, men vil drive det gennem selve riser'en. Hvis du havde en modul\u00e6r PSU, kunne du frakoble disse ledninger.<\/p>\n\n<p>I stedet bruger vi risernes str\u00f8mkabler til at forsyne grafikkortet med str\u00f8m. Det er bare det, producenten har brugt til dataoverf\u00f8rsel i stedet for specialfremstillede stik. Dern\u00e6st tilsluttede vi NVMe-datakablet til Aya Neo Pro. Du kan s\u00e6tte skruen i igen for at holde den fast. Monter derefter de to str\u00f8mkabler fra riser'en til grafikkortet.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"choosing-some-storage\">Valg af opbevaring<\/h2>\n\n<p>Dern\u00e6st skal vi bruge noget lagerplads til at k\u00f8re Windows fra. Da vi bruger NVMe-slottet p\u00e5 Aya Neo Pro, har vi brug for et alternativ. Den registrerede, at der var et GeForce tilsluttet, og installerede driverne, men de blev ikke aktiveret, og sk\u00e6rmen forblev som f\u00f8r.<\/p>\n\n<p>Efter lidt s\u00f8gen p\u00e5 nettet fandt vi ud af, at der er et problem med Nvidia eGPU'er, der k\u00f8rer over PCIe. Men nogle kloge hoveder p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/egpu.io\/forums\/expresscard-mpcie-m-2-adapters\/script-nvidia-error43-fixer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">egpu.io's forum<\/a> har et script, der l\u00f8ser problemet. Tomb Raider. Vi k\u00f8rer med 4K p\u00e5 de h\u00f8jeste indstillinger, og alt ser ud til at fungere fint.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Et par ting, der er vigtige at n\u00e6vne. N\u00e5r NVMe-kablet er installeret, vil du ikke kunne lukke bagsiden af kabinettet p\u00e5 Aya Neo. Du kan sikkert sk\u00e6re et stykke ud af kabinettet, der er stort nok til kablet, hvis du virkelig \u00f8nsker det. Hvis der er nok eftersp\u00f8rgsel, kan vi f\u00e5 nogle erstatningsrygge fra Aya, som du kan modificere.<\/p>\n\n<p>For det andet, fordi man ikke kan bruge Aya Neo-controlleren, da bagsiden ikke er p\u00e5 enheden. Nogle spil fungerer muligvis ikke med eksterne controllere, da Aya Neo har en indbygget controller. S\u00e5 den vil se eventuelle ekstra joysticks som spiller 2, 3 osv. S\u00e5 nej, den kan ikke k\u00f8re Crysis \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n<p>Det kan f.eks. skyldes, at du k\u00f8rer Windows OS fra et USB-drev, eller kompatibilitetsproblemer med eksterne grafikkort. Nogle spil kan ogs\u00e5 crashe tilf\u00e6ldigt under spil, vi tror, det kan skyldes, at USB NVMe-l\u00e6seren er lidt elendig.<\/p>\n\n<p>Og sidst, men ikke mindst, en stor tak til DroiX-medarbejderen Cris, som har brugt en masse tid p\u00e5 dette eksperiment.
