The 7 inch <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/IPS_panel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IPS display<\/a> with touchscreen has a native resolution of 1920&#215;1200. It has good levels of brightness and the colours look great. There are the power, volume control buttons and a 3.5mm headphone port. The USB Type-C 4 can be used for charging or connecting peripherals such as an eGPU. There is also a USB Type-A 3.0 port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bottom has a USB Type-C port which can also be used for charging or connecting peripherals such as the ONEXPLAYER Mini dock station. And with Cinebench running on a loop we got 1 hour 12 minutes. It is very useful and definitely a welcome addition to the ONEXPLAYER handhelds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-system-benchmarks\">System Benchmarks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For the system benchmarks we have the 16GB and 32GB models  as well as our recently reviewed <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.eu\/hr\/product\/gpd-win-max-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GPD WIN MAX 2<\/a>. We also have a pre-production sample of the AOKZOE A1, the benchmark results for the A1 are for reference only as the handheld is not finalised. On the multi-core benchmark we get scores of 11,357 and 11,130.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gaming-benchmarks\">Gaming Benchmarks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We continue our ONEXPLAYER Mini Pro review with some gaming benchmarks. For our gaming benchmarks we have changed our testing formats. From now on, we will be testing at 800P at 28W, as well as 11, 20 and 28W at the device&#8217;s native resolution. This way we can compare different handhelds at a common shared resolution of 800P to spot any performance differences. You can run at around 25W TDP for the best performance and battery life balance but ideally you want the TDP as low as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next we are comparing the benchmark results with the <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.eu\/hr\/product\/gpd-win-max-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GPD WIN MAX 2<\/a>  and a pre-production sample of the AOKZOE A1. We could run all the benchmarks multiple times and get different scores, but generally there is not a massive difference in performance between the three. This is good for us as it helps to make the decision what to buy not based on the best performance, but on the design, screen size and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gameplay-performance\">Gameplay Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We will now try some games at playable graphics levels. You can lower the TDP to around 15W and lower the graphics to minimal to save battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For multiplayer you will likely want to run at 28W 800P on minimal graphics for the highest FPS to get your kills in faster \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-emulator-performance\">Emulator Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We continue our ONEXPLAYER Mini Pro review with a look at the emulation performance. It is overall very similar to the GPD Win MAX 2 that we <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/blogs\/gpd-win-max-2-amd-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recently reviewed<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturally all the classic 8 and 16-bit consoles will work fine at low TDP with no issues at all. This extends to the next generation with PlayStation and Dreamcast era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will briefly go over some of the more recent consoles to see the performance. Games such as Sonic Generations have the initial shader cache lags, while other games such as Ridge Racer will run mostly fine. On Sonic Racing we get the full 30 FPS for the most part, but there are graphics glitches. Other games such as Project Gotham Racing are hovering in the mid 20 frames per second area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-playstation-3-rpcs3-emulator\">PlayStation 3 &#8211; RPCS3 emulator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>PlayStation 3 is getting to the point where many games are playable. On Wipeout HD we are getting mostly high 50 to 60 FPS with some minor lags. Cruis\u2019n Blast is running at high 50 to 60s with some minor lags now and again. Other games performance and compatibility varies so not everything works but there are a decent number of playable games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-summary\">Summary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We finish our ONEXPLAYER Mini Pro review with my own thoughts. The ONEXPLAYER Mini Pro for me is a huge step up from the previous generation. If we think back to around a year ago,  most <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.eu\/hr\/product-category\/gaming-handheld\/handheld-gaming-pcs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">handhelds<\/a> were struggling to run many of the latest games at enjoyable settings. Now we can load up a game and not worry too much about tweaking and optimising. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, we do still have to worry about battery life, just over one hour full load at 28W TDP is not great. It is comfortable to game on for extended periods of time, the controls are within easy reach and not too cramped together. The screen size is spot on, at 1200P resolution, games look very good and there&#8217;s enough screen to see text without any issues.
