The RDNA 2, GTX 1050Ti-like performance embedded GPU will be front and centre on the AYANEO 2 PC Gaming Console.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 14th of May, AYANEO held a YouTube live conference to talk about the <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/blogs\/ayaneo-oled-teased\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AYANEO Air - The OLED Gaming Handheld<\/a>. During that conference, we actually had more news than originally expected. NO, they did not announce GTA 6 but they did unveil 2 new products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AYANEO Slide and AYANEO 2. Whilst the AYANEO Slide is a new product lineup from AYANEO, the AYANEO 2 is set to replace the original <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/blogs\/aya-neo-2021-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AYANEO 2021<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/blogs\/aya-neo-2021-pro-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2021 PRO<\/a>. Whilst we, at DroiX just received the first batch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.eu\/ro\/product\/ayaneo-next-pro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AYANEO Next Pro<\/a> (and are actually shipping them to our customers, yey - get yours at the link above) AYANEO has been busy coming up with more products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">AYANEO 2 All Screen <br>The first AMD 6800U Windows handheld in the world <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TU97f1nv6l\">pic.twitter.com\/TU97f1nv6l<\/a><\/p>&mdash; AYANEO (@AYANEO__) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AYANEO__\/status\/1525310869890269184?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 14, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So, you're asking &#8222;What's with this click-bait title and this Steam Deck killer?\", well&#8230;Let's talk about the second question as I don't want to discuss my title choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ayaneo-2-better-than-the-steam-deck\">AYANEO 2 - Better than the Steam Deck?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Specifications for the AYANEO 2 include a Zen 3+ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amd.com\/en\/products\/apu\/amd-ryzen-7-6800u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AMD Ryzen 7 6800U<\/a> APU, sporting the AMD Radeon 680M GPU. Why is this exciting you ask?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only that many reviews and performance benchmarks online of the Radeon 680M put this GPU at the same level with the NVidia GeForce 1050Ti (The netbook model) or the GTX 1650 Max-Q, but AYANEO is packing the AYANEO 2 with the <strong>Zen 3+ Ryzen 7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To put it in perspective, the Steam Deck's custom-design Aerith APU is built upon the Zen 2 architecture, a quad-core processor with a 2.40Ghz base clock and a 3.50 Ghz boost clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AYANEO 2&#8242;s <strong>octa-core<\/strong> Zen3+ APU starts with a 2.70Ghz base clock and can ramp up to 4.70Ghz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just from the boring numbers alone you can tell the AYANEO 2 will undoubtedly be faster than the Steam Deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AYANEO 2 Features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>AYANEO always seems to put a lot of thought into their products, and you can tell by the fact that the AYANEO Next comes with a set of gloves. (Really! Watch our unboxing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7-a4jFiSs0Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>) And that does not stop, nor slow down with their latest rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gaming handheld<\/a> is a very personal opinion, and many will still prefer the boxier look of the <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.eu\/ro\/product\/aya-neo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AYANEO 2021<\/a>, or the more gamer-esque look of the <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/blogs\/tag\/onexplayer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ONEXPLAYER<\/a> lineup. But, you can't deny the beauty of an all-screen chassis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rounded design and the focus on ergonomics are very reminiscent of the Steam Deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AYANEO 2 will also come with LPDDR5 Memory, clocked at 6400Mhz, PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD Storage and USB 4.0 Ports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When will AYANEO 2 be released?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As we have seen the <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/blogs\/gpd-win-max-2-faq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GPD WIN Max 2 is getting the Ryzen 7 6800U chips<\/a>, AYANEO might push the release date earlier than the <strong>end of the year<\/strong>, as originally advertised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How much will the AYANEO 2 cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the AYANEO 2021 starts at \u00a3999 or $1,231 - The AYANEO 2 will most probably be in the same ballpark. (Give or take $100-$200).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to buy AYANEO 2?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, your friendly geeks at <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/blogs\">DroiX<\/a> will be the first retailers in the UK and Europe to stock them.
