Power on issue

When I switch the box off via remote the box won't switch back on with the remote. I have to remove the power cable and reinsert it. Is there some sort of setting I'm missing?

What's the remote you're using to power it on?

Most Android boxes can only be powered on via the IR remote that comes with them (or a remote that has copied the IR code).

Other remotes will be able to power them off, but not on.

Thanks Ben, this is the issue. Do your know the code for the box's remote so I can put it on my universal remote?

The code isn't something you can key in manually unfortunately. You'll need to clone it from the existing IR remote.
