First download the graphics patch.rar file from here (backup here). As this is a Windows kernel level software, your browser or anti-virus may block or warn you when downloading. The files do not have a virus and is a false positive. Extract the files to your GPD device.
Now run the AGC-Setup-1.0.6.exe file. You may be prompted by Microsoft Defender SmartScreen to confirm to run the file, choose Run anway.
Follow the prompts to install the software. And when prompted to restart the computer, choose this and then click on Finish to reboot the device.
Once you have rebooted back in to Windows, there will be an AGC shortcut icon on the desktop, double click to run the software and you will have a screen as follows. Click on the Config GPU Feature tab
Now click on the Replace Kmd Driver button to open a file select box.
Navigate to the extracted files and choose the amdkmdag.sys file.
After the file has been imported and updated you will see a notification box to confirm this and to reboot the device. You can confirm the update from the text log shown in the box, then click OK on the notification box, and click on Reboot OS, or reboot from the Start menu.
Once you have rebooted your device, it is now ready to be used with a eGPU. If you require information on setting up the GPD G1, please refer to our guide here.
If after reboot you have a Windows 11 Home Test Mode message in the bottom right corner of your desktop. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type bcdedit /set testsigning off, then reboot.
