Following the instructions will update BitLocker and work as intended. However, connecting\/disconnecting the OcuLink device will result in BitLocker prompting the same message. A Windows security issue causes this, and there is not much we can do to fix this. However, we can circumvent this by either of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Updating each time you connect\/disconnect a device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disabling BitLocker in Windows (at your discretion).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disable BitLocker<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>BitLocker is a full encryption feature incorporated within Windows OS that is designed to protect your data. You can turn off this feature as a hotfix for the issues occurring when connecting a device via OcuLink. If you decide to disable Bitlocker on your Minisforum UM780 XTX, do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select <strong>Start Menu<\/strong> (Windows logo) from the taskbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search &amp; select <strong>Manage BitLocker<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Turn off BitLocker<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm <strong>Turn off BitLocker<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This process may take a few hours to decrypt your drive and you may also be required to input your password or PIN (if you have one).
