Today we&#8217;re going to bring to you a quick &#8216;n dirty guide on how to update the firmware for the DroiX X3 Android Box!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To begin with, you&#8217;ll need the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A Male-to-Male USB cable<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/go.droix.net\/X3-FW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Firmware for the DroiX X3<\/a><\/li><li>A PC or Laptop for installing the software<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Download_The_Firmware\">Download The Firmware<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>You can download the firmware here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/go.droix.net\/X3-FW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/go.droix.net\/X3-FW<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside this are two key files. The image file itself, and a file called &#8220;password.bin&#8221;. Keep both of these on hand for the moment. We have also included version 2.1.7.0 of the Amlogic USB Burning Tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"The_Flashing_Process\">The Flashing Process<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Install the Amlogic USB Burning Tool (included in the firmware download).
