It\u2019s important to ensure that your devices are running the latest Operating System, ensuring you have the most recent security updates, features and games. OnionOS<\/a> is no different. If you\u2019ve already got it installed follow this guide to upgrade your device. If you don\u2019t have OnionOS installed on your Miyoo device<\/a>, take a look at our how-to guide here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First things first ensure that you are connected to Wi-Fi. This can be done by going to \u2018Settings\u2019 from the main menu, then to \u2018Wi-Fi\u2019. Once it is turned on and searching, connect to your network of choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you\u2019re connected to the internet you can head to \u2018Apps\u2019 on the main menu and then scroll down to \u2018Onion OTA Update\u2019 and click \u2018A\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will load the upgrade program, it is a text-based interface. Press any key (not the power button) to start the upgrade process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select \u2018Yes\u2019 to begin downloading the new software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can watch the download progress as the percentage is updated on each line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click ‘Yes’ to apply for the upgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The installation with begin, and it will load a graphical interface to show the progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the final stage of the installation, verify the emulators, apps and settings that are installed. Press ‘Select’ to go to the next page of the check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device will reboot one last time and then it is done. Congratulations you have just upgraded to the latest version of OnionOS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
