With the updated firmware you get improved control over deadzone adjustments and other minor fixes. Read on for how to update your <a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/product\/gpd-win-4-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GPD WIN 4 2023<\/a> joystick firmware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Download the firmware update<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First, you will need to download and extract the firmware update files. You can download it <a href=\"https:\/\/droidbox.sharepoint.com\/:u:\/s\/Purchasing\/ERDzy_Gu7hhGnyzNtdysRn8BahPcwu_ZSS-KxeIe4JiGPA?e=2YZ4it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. Extract the two files from the download.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Running the firmware update<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before running the update please ensure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your device is connected to a charger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>That the gamepad\/mouse switch on the left side of the GPD WIN 4 2023 is set to <strong>gamepad<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Run the firmware update file, at the time of writing it is named <strong>GPD Gamepad WIN4 X408K407.exe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the software has loaded you will be presented with a screen similar to below. If it is lower, click on the <strong>Update <\/strong>button to start the update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not close the software or switch off the GPD WIN 4 2023 until the update has been completed. Follow the prompts to install it. Reboot Windows and then run the <strong>WinControls<\/strong> software<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a
