The first is by following the guide below. It does not require a Windows PC\/laptop in order to use.<\/p>\n<p>The second method is to update the firmware to a newer version. This is easy to do but it does require a Windows PC to update the firmware. You can follow the guide at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/flashing-gpd-xd-plus-firmware\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">https:\/\/droix.net\/flashing-gpd-xd-plus-firmware\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Download the DeviceID.apk app from <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/yc4g6e6y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/yc4g6e6y<\/a><\/span>. You can download it stSght to your XD Plus, or copy it to a SD Card for example, whichever is easiest for you.<\/p>\n<p>Using a File Manager, locate the <strong>DeviceID.apk<\/strong> file that you downloaded and click on it to install it. Accept any prompts while it is installing.<\/p>\n<p>Once it is installed, open the app and you will see <strong>Android Device ID<\/strong> and <strong>Google Service Framework (GSF)<\/strong> letters\/numbers. The one you want is the <strong>Google Service Framework (GSF)<\/strong>, so make a note of these letters\/numbers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Play-Store-Fix-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2185\" src=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Play-Store-Fix-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Open&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/android\/uncertified\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.google.com\/android\/uncertified\/<\/a><\/span> in your browser and log in using the same Google account that you will be using with the Google Play Store.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Play-Store-Fix-7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2184\" src=\"https:\/\/droix.net\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/11\/Play-Store-Fix-7-300x153.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"153\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Enter the <strong>Google Service Framework (GSF)<\/strong> you made a note of earlier in the respective field and click on <strong>Register<\/strong>. After a few moments the number will be generated below under&nbsp;Registered Android IDs.<\/p>\n<p>Back to your XD Plus.
