Specifications and first info
MSI has directly unveiled the Radeon RX 6500 XT MECH 2X graphics cards, a custom card in AMD’s new mid-range series. The new graphics cards are designed to make 1080p gaming experiences for popular AAA and esports titles accessible to more gamers than ever. This is especially necessary since prices have been simply overpriced for over a year and there were no good alternatives on the market other than discontinued or used cards.
Radeon RX 6500 XT MECH 2X Specification
AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics cards are based on the breakthrough AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture and are designed to deliver great gaming performance with remarkable efficiency. They feature high-bandwidth, low-latency AMD Infinity Cache and high-speed GDDR6 memory. They also support Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) upscaling technology, and other advanced features that deliver a visually stunning high frame rate gaming experience.
The MECH series returns with the MSI Radeon RX 6500 XT MECH 2X graphics card, now featuring the highly acclaimed MSI TORX FAN 3.0. The performance-oriented MECH design has everything you need to handle any task, be it work or play. A powerful cooling system, reinforced backplate with brushed finish and sturdy industrial design make the MECH board suitable for any PC.
Radeon RX 6500 XT MECH 2X Price and Availability
The manufacturer currently still owes us a price quote, since no information about a market price or an RRP has been given so far. When the boards will be available for purchase is also not quite clear at the moment. Another question will be whether sufficient quantities will be available. These questions can probably only be answered conclusively in the coming weeks.
The bigger sister MSI Radeon RX 6600 Mech 2X with 8 GB GDDR6 is currently in stock and also immediately available, whereas it is priced around 579€ . How far AMD will really go below the 200€ mark with the cards is not foreseeable. At the moment, however, it seems rather unlikely. We would recommend a lower price due to the current price situation rather guess 300-400€.
