If you have a phone or tablet with Android 6 (Marshmallow), then this update for our DroiX® T8-S and T8-S Plus will be of interest to you. With the DroiX® Share update included, you will now be able to use your handheld device to control the T8-S and T8-S Plus in more ways, with more devices.
Should your mobile device of choice happen to be Lollipop (Android 5) based, then you’ll find the update allows Screen Mirroring, and finally if iOS 9 powers your pocket slab of silicon, you could well be delighted that AirPlay (where apps support it) will function with the DroiX® now.

Other changes include:
- Updates to DroiX® Control Center and DroiX® Marketplace.
- DBMC 16.1.2 and Kodi 16.1 RC2 added.
- Auto Refresh rate switching added
- Some improvements to the Launcher.
You’ll find that there is no need to carry out a reset of the device after this update. Your applications and their settings will stay in place.

The screens below show the basics, once you’ve open the OTA Updates application. Don’t forget to untick the „Download on Wi-Fi only“ option if you’re using a network (ethernet) cable with your T8-S Plus. The screenshots are for an older version update, don’t worry that your screen shows a more recent number.
The screens above should match yours. Once the download starts, you can click the Hide button and wait for the file to complete transferring.
