No details have been announced on the price. We will update when we get more information. You will of course be able to buy the GPD WIN Mini from DroiX.

We would expect the GPD WIN Mini to be very competitive in price and performance when used with the GPD G1 eGPU docking station. Compared to the ASUS ROG Ally and their ASUS ROG XG dock, the ROG XG alone costs in the $1800 range and Ally costs $599. The G1 costs $739, discounted to $630, we could see the total price around that of the ROG XG alone!

It will feature at least a similar keyboard to that of the GPD WIN 2 which we found fairly good for typing on. It’s useful for quick tasks such as logging into services, short messages, searching online etc.

According to the design images we have, there appears to be a touchpad in the top center between the gaming controls.

The bottom half of the portable games console will have a changeable part for a plain bottom, or with a dual grip style design. It is useful for potentially fitting in your pocket when plain, or a larger jacket pocket with the grip attached. This is a very innovative idea and we can’t wait to try this out!
