Only a few more days left until the DroiX Black Friday Sale begins. In this article, we’re going to showcase a number of budget mini PC models that you’ll be able to snag sweet savings on in our best Black Friday offers yet. Cheap PCs? Yes please!

What is a budget Mini PC?

Sometimes you find that you need a PC, but you only need it for the most basic of things. Perhaps you only want to do some online shopping, or maybe you just want to manage your emails (which is arguably more comfortable on a desktop). Whatever the specific reason, in this case you might want to consider a budget mini PC.

Like all mini PCs, they are fully-functional PCs that are miniature in size. A fraction of the size of your average tower PC, in fact. They also consume substantially less power, with TPDs lower than 20 watts in most cases.

In short, if you’re looking for efficiency across the board. Power efficiency, price efficiency, space efficiency; we at DroiX have the best budget mini PCs available for you to buy on Black Friday and onwards.

Beelink GK35 Top Angled View

Beelink are an expert in crafting high-quality, small-sized PCs that cover a variety of performance brackets. Their particular specialty lies in budget mini PCs.

The GK35 is no exception, as at its core lies an Intel Celeron J3455 quad-core processor. This processor runs at up to 2.3GHz, and has a TDP of roughly 10 wats. This is a fraction of what you might find in a regular desktop processor (which usually operate at upwards of 70w). So you can save on energy bills even when running this device 24/7.

DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM and an M.2 SATA SSD underpin the device’s deceptively fast loading speeds, allowing for seamless web browsing, video watching, and more.

The GK35 also features all the essential interfaces, such as four USB 3.0 ports, a Type-C USB port, and a gigabit ethernet port.

There is also a number of remote-operation functions present such as Auto-Power-On, PXE booting, and Wake-on-LAN. Making the GK35 an excellent mini PC for using as a kiosk or digital signpost.

Beelink U59 - Top Angled View

The Beelink U59 is a slightly more powerful budget mini PC from Beelink that features an 11th generation Intel Celeron processor – the N5095.

This quad-core processor can run at speeds of up to 2.9GHz, and provides stable, reliable performance at a TDP of approximately 15w.

Like most other modern mini PCs, the U59 sports SO-DIMM DDR4 RAM. But unlike other budget models, the U59 features a lightning-fast M.2 NVMe SSD for decreased load times and smoother runtime performance in all your applications.

The essential ports are also present on the U59. With four USB ports, dual-HDMI, gigabit ethernet, USB-C and a 3.5mm audio jack. You’ll easily be able to connect your mouse, keyboard and have ports to spare too.

MinisForum GK50 | A Low-Profile Budget Mini PC

The GK50 is a budget mini PC developed by MinisForum; a manufacturer usually known for their higher-end models, but from time to time do produce excellent budget PC options.

The GK50 features an Intel Pentium N5030 processor. For those unfamilar, Pentium processors are a small step up from Celerons in performance, with this quad-core processer being capable of speeds up to 3.10GHz, while having a TDP of only approximately 6W. Absolutely incredible in terms of performance and power-efficiency.

This processor performance is underpinned by a reliable set of SO-DIMM DDR4 RAM and an M.2 SATA SSD, providing fast loading times that would put old tower PCs to shame.

The GK50 also has a nice array of interfaces from the offset. Firstly, all four of its USB ports are front-facing, making it easy to connect and disconnect your peripherals. Second, the GK50 features both a HDMI port and a DisplayPort for increased flexibility in multi-monitor setups. Thirdly, the GK50 has TWO gigabit ethernet ports to allow it to comfortably slot into complex networking setups.

Finally, the GK50 also has a few additional interfaces on the side. With a dedicated microSD card slot (for quick-and-easy storage expansion), and separate headphone/microphone jacks.
