Benchmark Summary
A quick recap of the GPD Win MAX 2021 AMD models scores.
PASSMARK | 4840 |
PCMARK | 5290 |
3DMARK | 1372 |

SHADOW OF THE TOMB RAIDER | Lowest Default Settings: 57 FPS Highest Default Settings 28 FPS |
Overall they are good scores for 20W TDP, but do keep in mind that the default TDP is 16W so you would need to change this in the BIOS.
And next we can compare the results with the AYA NEO 2021 Pro and ONEXPLAYER AMD which have the same 4800U processor. And the ONEXPLAYER AMD 5700U model which is a newer processor with similar performance levels.
GPD Win MAX 2021 4800U | AYA NEO 2021 Pro 4800U | ONEXPLAYER AMD 4800u | ONEXPLAYER AMD 5700u | |
PASSMARK | 4840 | 5054 | 4990 | 4980 |

FINAL FANTASYS XIV | 3283 | 3372 | 3188 | 3261 |
The Win MAX is not far behind the Aya NEO 2021 Pro in quite a few of the benchmark results. It’s certainly higher than the ONEXPLAYER AMD models. Overall the GPD Win MAX 2021 AMD model is very competitive against the AYA Pro. And you do have the larger screen, built-in keyboard, HDMI Output, ethernet port and overall longer battery life to consider if you are torn between deciding.
