Unfortunately, it has come to the point where a number of EU countries have closed their road borders (More specifically, Dover) which forced DPD to halt all of their “EU Classic (Road)” shipping options.
Over our Christmas Sale, we have received orders from EU Customers and in order for us to maintain the same level of exceptional service we have been working hard to find a solution to ensure these orders will be with our customer in time for Christmas
Therefore, we have decided to upgrade free of charge almost 70% out of all the orders to EU to DHL Express (Air) shipping, which will drastically reduce the shipping time. This upgrade comes at a higher cost, which we will take upon us, as we understand how hard these times are for our customers, and we believe if we have even the slightest opportunity to help make Christmas just a little better, we should do it.
We are and will keep working to improve our shipping options (You will notice that we do not offer a “Standard” option anymore during checkout) and we are in close contact with our Account Managers to be prepared for the next steps.
In the interest of full transparency, DPD Classic is an “economy” service, and the difference in price is between 25-50% (Depending on the shipping destination), which will be reflected during checkout currently, compared with DHL Express.
If any of the orders which are currently in-transit to the EU have been delayed – We ask to contact us and we can explore the possible options.
United Kingdom orders are not affected by this impediment. The above post targets only EU Orders.
