This video guide shows how to fix the ‘crackling’ noise when you press the GPD WIN 5 triggers. It is caused by a little bit of glue residue in the path of the trigger when it is pressed. You can first try clearing the residue with some IPA and a cotton bud without opening by pressing the trigger down and carefully inserting the bud. If the issue persists, you can open the back of the case with a Phillips 000 screwdriver and have easier access to clear it.
As always, while we do allow self repairs, any damage caused by yourself is not covered by our warranty (see Terms & Conditions here). Please only do so if you feel you are confident that you can do it. Watch the video first, and judge for yourself.
