As an update to our GPD XP review we have compiled a video showing 15 of the best Android games that you can play. We have picked a selection of genres including racing, sports FPS and platform to give a good overview of the capabilities of the GPD XP.
I have probably missed out some big games, so if you would like to see another video with more games please reply in the comments. If there is enough demand I will make a second video.
The GPD XP features a MediaTek Helio G95 8 core processor, ARM Mali-G76 MC4 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS2.1 storage. The storage can be expanded up to 2TB via Micro SD Card. The 6.81″ IPS display supports up to 2400×1080 resolution and is 10 point touch screen supported. There is also support for a Nano-SIM to enable data transfer. Voice is not supported so you will not be able to receive or make calls.
The GPD XP has built in controls that can be changed with its modular design for the best configuration. It is a great Android handheld game console being able to play the latest and popular games. These games include Call of Duty Mobile, Shadowgun Legends and PUBG. It is also excellent for retro gaming with emulators, supporting all the classic retro gaming consoles, up to more modern systems such as the Dreamcast, PlayStation, PSP, DS and some Dreamcast.
We had a few questions regarding the price of the GPD XP. We do not have an official price from GPD yet, they have not announced it. But we are expecting it to be in the range of £240-£250 (around $342). As soon as we get an official price we will update here.
