Retroid have been teasing their new Pocket handheld model for a couple of weeks. The Retroid Pocket 4 and Retroid Pocket 4 PRO Android OS-based retro gaming handhelds were officially announced today. You can pre-order now at their respective links! Let’s take a look at what we know so far.
Power and Performance
The Retroid Pocket 4 is equipped with a Mediatek Dimensity 900 Octa-core CPU (2xA78 @ 2.4Ghz, 6x A55 @ 2.0GHz), paired with a G68 MC4 GPU at 900Mhz and 4GB LPDDR4x RAM.
In contrast, the Retroid Pocket 4 PRO takes it a step further with the Mediatek Dimensity 1100 Octa Core CPU (4xA78 @ 2.6Ghz) and a G77 MC9 GPU at 836Mhz, accompanied by a substantial 8GB LPDDR4x RAM.
Both devices offer 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, with expandable options via a Micro SD card slot.

Both models provide 720P video output via HDMI. The Retroid Pocket 4 PRO adds to this with 1080P output through USB Type-C, enhancing your gaming experience on larger screens.
