The One Netbook One Mix 3 Plus convertible laptop features a high performance 10th Generation Intel i3-10110Y processor up to 4GHz (turbo frequency) with 8GB of fast DDR RAM and 256GB of PCIe NVME SSD storage while remaining in a easy to carry and comfortable ultrabook design and size.

Running Windows 10, the One Mix 3s Plus features a 8.4 inch IPS touchscreen display with a 2560×1600 resolution which gives superb quality image. You can use a Micro HDMI cable or USB Type-C hub to display the One Netbook on your TV or monitor for use with presentations for example.

The keyboard keys are comfortable to type on for extended periods of time and are backlit for use in dark areas. A fingerprint scanner can be found on the One Mix Yoga laptop keyboard for improved security. Mouse cursor control is handled by an Infrared Induction Mouse which requires a simple movement of the finger over the sensor.

Connectivity is handled well with a USB 3.1 port and a USE Type-C port, which can be connected to a hub for connecting multiple devices to your Mix 3s Plus. A Micro SD card slot can be used to further extend the storage. The 2.4/5G dual channel WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 support will ensure you stay connected.

The Windows 10 ultrabook measures just 204 x 129 x 14.9mm and 0.67kg which being made from Metal CNC technology is surprisingly light. As with the One Mix Yoga convertible laptop range, the screen and keyboard parts can be rotated 360 degrees to turn it from ultrabook to tablet. It makes it easy to carry, even in a jacket pocket for example. The 8600mAh 3.7V battery will ensure your battery life will last an average work day

This is a teeny...

This is a teeny tiny laptop, nevertheless it comes with a fully fledged i5 processor and a yoga-type fliip-over screen. It weighs about 600 grammes so it's extremely portable. It charges via the USB-C port and the charger that comes with it is of the two pinned continental variety so advisable to get a UK charger.

Solid machine, god-awful firmware

I was pleasantly surprised by the hardware – the machine feels solid as, the keyboard is really usable after an hour or two, the fan curves are very reasonable and keep the CPU at a sensible temperature. However, the firmware side is pretty awful. The AMI BIOS doesn't come with network drivers so you can't netboot off a USB-C Ethernet dongle (something, for example, a Toshiba X40 i have access to can do) and came with no Secure Boot keys and with Secure Boot disabled. When selecting Default Provisioning of the keys, all are populated with "DO NOT TRUST - AMI Test Key", which is suboptimal, but after putting my own keys into the PK/KEK/DB and the Debian key into DB, all seems to work fine. The DMI information is full of Default Strings and explicitly says chassis=desktop, so that's a bit of an L as well. The microcode in the firmware is ancient, but Linux early firmware loading worked, so it's not that big of a deal. Also be aware that the fingerprint sensor is attached via SPI with an ACPI table entry pointing at it, and that's not supported by libfprint right now (see issue #112). The screen is oriented with down towards the left, but fbcon=rotate:3 in the cmdline works for the console, and X rotation of the display leftward, as well as adjusting the touchscreen and pen transformation matrices make it work beautifully.

Hi there! Thank you for your in-depth review! We'll forward this information to One Netbook, and hopefully they'll take it into consideration when developing the firmware for newer products!

Nice little thing, just a little hot

This little machine fits my needs quite right. I use it every day for more than 12+ hours each day and it does the job.
The only thing is that even with the fan on, it can become quite hot on the long run so it depends on your usage I guess.

Hi there! Thanks for the review! The devices do run hotter than what you might be used to, but this is normal for most small form-factor devices (laptops, mini PC's, etc.). It's a trade-off of the power and portability you get :)

Very good piece...

Very good piece of equipment, fast, sleek, small and well rounded, only thing I have a problem with, is the heat that this thing gives off.
