Beelink GTR4 Unboxing
As always we start the Beelink GTR4 review with the unboxing. First up we have the User Guide which is in multiple languages including English, German, Italian and Japanese. Next we have the Beelink GTR4 Mini PC, which we will show in more detail shortly.
Underneath we have the power brick and cable. We will include the correct adaptor for your country. There are two HDMI cables; one is very short and is perfect for when mounting the mini PC behind your TV or monitor.
Next we have the mount bracket which you attach to the mini computer and display. And last but not least, we have two packs of screws. One is for securing the 2.5” internal drive, and the other is for the mounting bracket.
Overview of the Beelink GTR4
The GTR4 measures 6.6 x 4.7 x 1.5 inches (16.8 x 12 x 3.9 cm) and weighs around 649 grams. On the top of the device we have a fingerprint scanner for fast and secure logging into Windows, its great when used as an office mini PC.
On the front we have the power and clear CMOS buttons. Beside those are a USB 3 port and a USB Type-C port, along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
On the back are two 2.5GB ethernet ports for ultra fast data transfer. There is a HDMI and DisplayPort which can be used together for dual monitor support. And last but not least, there are two USB 3 and two USB 2 ports for connecting peripherals to.

System Benchmarks
PassMark
Next in our Beelink GTR4 review we start our system benchmarks with PassMark. It runs a series of tests on the CPU, GPU, RAM and storage. It pushes them to the maximum for peak performance.
The GTR4 has a score of 5,193. We will be comparing the results with other home and office mini PCs further in the review.
PCMark
Next we are testing the GTR4 with your more real life day to day tasks. These can range from web browsing, working with large office documents or media consumption. Through to more advanced tasks such as image and video editing or processing.
The GTR4 scores 5,482. Like PassMark they are good scores, but they in the lower end of the scale in the high end mini PC’s we have tried this year
3DMark
3DMark tests the CPU and GPU together to see how they perform for video processing. This is not just for gaming, but also important for image and video rendering for example.
The GTR4 scores 1,385. Again it is a good score, but not competing with the higher performance home mini PC’s.
Cinebench
Cinebench tests pure CPU performance in either multi or single core rendering tests. We are testing the multicore performance.
On the Beelink GTR4 we got a final score of 9,687. That’s about right for a mini PC for office work of this specification.
CrystalDiskMark
CrystalDisk Mark runs a series of tests to see the best performance of the SSD storage with different reading and writing patterns.
The GTR4 scores a best read and write speed of 2496 MB/s and 1839 MB/s respectively.
Games Benchmarks
Forza Horizon 5
We start our gaming benchmarks with Forza Horizon 5 running at 1280×720 on the Very Low graphics settings.
At the end of the benchmark we get an average of 83 frames per second which is quite impressive. It is not far off the gaming handhelds such as the ONEXPLAYER Mini.
Final Fantasy XIV
In our Final Fantasy XIV benchmark we are running at 1280×720 on the maximum graphics settings.
We got a very respectable score of 5,994. It’s enough to be able to play the game with good graphics at a stable frame rate.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
In our next benchmark we are testing the highly demanding Shadow of the Tomb Raider running at 1280×720 on the Lowest graphics settings.
At the end of the benchmark the Beelink GTR4 home mini PC get an average frames per second of 62. You could play at this setting, but it may be better to lock it to 30 FPS and have a few higher graphics settings.
Cyberpunk 2077
We finish the gaming benchmarks with the equally as demanding Cyberpunk 2077. We are running at 1280×720 on the Low graphics settings.
At the end of the benchmark we get an average frames per second of 35.53. The game is playable but you will get frame drops below 30 while playing.
Benchmark Summary
We wrap up this Beelink GTR4 review by taking a brief look at the system and gaming benchmarks. Then compare them with the higher specification Beelink GTR5 and Minisforum B550 mini PC’s.
BEELINK GTR4 | BEELINK GTR5 | MINISFORUM B550 | |
PASSMARK | 5193 | 5634 | 5992 |
PCMARK | 5482 | 6262 | 6468 |
3DMARK | 1385 | 1594 | 1505 |
CINEBENCH | 9687 | 11026 | 12015 |
CRYSTALDISKMARK | 2496 / 1839 MB/s | 1843 / 970 MB/s | 3257 / 2876 MB/s |
FORZA HORIZON 5 | 83 FPS | 94 FPS | 92 FPS |
FINAL FANTASY XIV | 5994 | 6806 | 6561 |
TOMB RAIDER | 62 FPS | 70 FPS | 69 FPS |
CYBERPUNK 2077 | 35.53 FPS | 42.42 FPS | 41 FPS |
Keeping in mind that the two other models are higher priced, the scores are reflective of this. We can see that the GTR4 is on the lower end of the results, but they are not massively different to the other two with between 8 and 14% difference in performance.
The Beelink GTR4 represents great value for money in terms of features and performance. There is a generous 32GB of RAM which is ideal when working with multiple software open at once or large office documents for example.
There are very good results across the benchmarks, this means you can expect fast performance from the moment you boot up Windows 11, through to your daily tasks at home or in the office. And after those, you can use as a gaming mini PC, enjoying games at playable frame rates and settings. However, if you want that bit more boost in performance, then consider the very impressive GTR5 model instead.
