Monitor incredibile

Adoro il mio monitor portatile DroiX. Funziona perfettamente collegato al mio Macbook Pro m1 tramite cavo USB. I colori sono vividi e l'immagine è piacevole in 4K.
Non uso il touchscreen perché il Macbook non lo supporta pienamente.
È molto utile quando si viaggia, ma si usa per lavorare con 2 monitor.
Inoltre, è possibile avere 2 monitor collegati :D ma forse è un po' troppo? :D

Ottimo monitor per il prezzo.

Questa recensione riguarda il monitor portatile 15,6 4K con Adobe RGB.

È un ottimo monitor per il suo prezzo, ma presenta alcune scelte di design che, se fossero state modificate, avrebbero reso questo monitor perfetto.

Il bene:

Non importa quante scelte di design ci siano che andrebbero cambiate, non si possono negare le caratteristiche che si ottengono con questo monitor per il prezzo che ha; è per questo che l'ho comprato e finché sarà resistente e durerà per un altro paio d'anni almeno potrò dire di aver speso bene i miei soldi.

Il monitor funziona perfettamente e rapidamente senza problemi.

La qualità è ottima e i colori sorprendentemente buoni, ma ciò che è ancora più impressionante è la luminosità.
Con i contenuti SDR e la navigazione in Internet è notevolmente più luminoso del mio MacBook M2 Pro. L'HDR a 10 bit è buono, ma i contenuti SDR brillano davvero.

Ci sono un sacco di opzioni di colore con cui giocare, non tutte utilizzabili, ma c'è un sacco di personalizzazione qui, è un peccato che non siano tutte spiegate, due impostazioni diverse per SRGB in due punti, ma quando le si attiva entrambe i colori appaiono un po' peggiori, c'è solo bisogno di qualche spiegazione per ciascuna delle impostazioni per ottenere il massimo dal monitor.

Cosa non ho testato:

L'accuratezza del colore è un aspetto che non ho testato in modo approfondito, non sono un tester professionista né un recensore, quindi non posso dire nulla sulla sua precisione. In una delle modalità SRGB con contenuti SDR posso dire che i colori sono fantastici. Ma la modalità Adobe RGB non l'ho testata a fondo, in quanto il suo utilizzo non sarebbe per la visione di contenuti, ma solo per la creazione.

Le delusioni:

La prima delusione è stata la posizione dei pulsanti. Non appena l'ho appoggiato sulla scrivania ho subito notato che non può essere utilizzato in modalità verticale, perché ci sono pulsanti su un lato e pulsanti sull'altro che verrebbero costantemente premuti. Ho comprato un supporto per laptop in modo da poterlo utilizzare in verticale e funziona perfettamente, a parte l'ampia cornice dei pulsanti che è più evidente in verticale. Si tratta di una mancanza enorme, in quanto funziona perfettamente in verticale. La presenza di tutti gli ingressi/uscite e dei pulsanti su un solo lato allevierebbe questo problema, oppure la sostituzione del supporto del monitor per consentire al monitor di stare in piedi in modalità verticale, purtroppo anche se ci fosse un supporto diverso sarebbe difficile accedere ai pulsanti.

Subito dopo aver dato un'occhiata al monitor e aver visto come si sente, ho notato che il pulsante di accensione è estremamente allentato, quindi l'ho scambiato per il cursore del menu, il pulsante del menu sembra come se fosse rotto da quanto è allentato, ma funziona comunque.

Il pulsante di scorrimento è di qualità davvero bassa, funziona ma la pressione è orribile, si ha la sensazione di rompere il cursore ogni volta. È solo il movimento di pressione vero e proprio, lo scorrimento va bene; se il cursore fosse leggermente più spesso, credo che questa sensazione si attenuerebbe.

Quando ho attivato l'audio 3D c'era un fastidioso suono sgranato neutro e costante che stranamente sembrava un ventilatore che soffiava continuamente, quindi non mi sono mai preoccupato di testare il suono di questa impostazione con la musica ecc.

Anche se la ricarica dei dispositivi tramite USB-C è davvero piacevole, vorrei che fosse possibile disattivarla. Se avessi la possibilità di scegliere, userei esclusivamente l'USB-C su questo monitor per utilizzare i miei dispositivi, ma li carica costantemente senza la possibilità di disattivarlo. Ciò significa che la batteria del display si esaurirà molto rapidamente e dovrò ricaricare il monitor in continuazione mentre utilizzo l'USB C per la visualizzazione. Se l'alimentazione attraverso l'USB C fosse abbastanza potente da alimentare i miei dispositivi, questo non sarebbe male, ma non è così. Utilizzando l'USB-C sul mio Macbook M2 Pro, il monitor consumava più energia di quella che gli forniva, e questo è stato testato con diversi caricabatterie da 65 W collegati al monitor. Probabilmente c'è un grosso limite alla sua capacità di carica. E questo significava anche che, non volendo usare l'USB-C, ho perso la possibilità di usare il touchscreen perché mi sentivo a mio agio solo con l'HDMI.

Conclusione:

Come già detto in precedenza, il prezzo è davvero alto. Dopo un'accurata ricerca di altre opzioni, non sono riuscito a trovare nulla con tutte le specifiche che stavo cercando, è una bella sorpresa avere tutte queste caratteristiche a quel prezzo. Penso che tutte le delusioni siano solo scelte di design, potrebbero essere compromesse a causa del prezzo, ma credo che possano essere facilmente risolte.
