There is a patented base plug that is USB Type-C. The AYANEO multi station can be powered via the USB Type-C port which also charges the AYANEO. It can also be powered by the AYANEO itself. Located on the top of the multi station is a power indicator which has three colours to show the status whether it is self powered, powered or charging a device.

There are full size SD and micro SD card slots on the right side of the dock.

On the back from left to right is a USB Type-C port that can be used for peripherals such as an external hard disk. There are two USB-A ports which can be used for mouse and keyboard as an example. The second USB Type-C port is used for the docking station power and can also charge connected AYANEO handhelds.

The HDMI 2.0b port can be used for video output from your AYANEO to your TV or monitor, it supports up to 4K at 60Hz. The Gigabit ethernet port ensures you have secure and high-speed data transfer to and from the AYANEO Multi Docking Station.

All you need to do is adjust the dock’s USB-Type-C for your handheld and plug it in. After a second or two you will have access to any peripherals, video output etc. You can even connect a game controller and play your favourite AAA Windows games on the big TV or monitor.

We like that the docking station is very compact. You can fit it in a small bag and it does not have any protruding parts like some docks. We also like the adjustable USB port which means you can potentially use it with other devices if they are compatible.
