ANBERNIC are once again entering the retro games console market with the brand new RG300X – a handheld console with a nostalgic design.
The RG300X is powered by the Ingenic JZ4770 CPU clocked in at a speed of 1.0GHz, and 512MB of RAM. Thanks to this, the RG300X is a retro games console that is easily capable of handling numerous retro gaming platforming. Up to and including the Playstation 1.
The highlight of the RG300X is the beautiful 3-inch 480p 4:3 IPS display, providing high-quality visuals in all manner of retro games, despite being a handheld retro games console.
The battery of the RG300X is rated at 2500mAh, allowing for up to 6 hours of gameplay off a single charge (actual lifetime will vary based on usage).
For storage, the RG300X makes use of a twin SD card design. Meaning it is easy to maintain multiple SD cards for all your retro games while keeping the emulators on a separate card, making for a wonderfully comprehensive retro game handheld.
A full suite of features is also present in this handheld games console; with HDMI-out via a mini-HDMI port on the top of the device, as well as dual stereo speakers (plus a 3.5mm jack for headphones) and built-in rumble too.
