I got this as an upgrade from my RG351P, and I'm not disappointed. It's a nice weighty lump, feels great build quality, and just the right size for all buttons to be easily reachable, although I do have long fingers.

Don't use the software that comes with it, as with any Anbernic device, their software is poor. I am using a build of 351elec, especially for the MP, and it's first class, everything works.

If you're looking for a device to play all your retro games up to PS1, then this is it, for sure.

Classy, quailty little machine.

Fantastic retro gaming console - if you know what you're doing, the best Firmware for this is ArkOS, hands down. If you're not so sure, there is a wealth of you tube videos online with step-by-step guides on how to get the most out of this thing and a generally fantastic community of retro gamers, developers and modders to boot.
Absolutely recommend this beautiful little unit. Once set up to your taste, it is a dream of emulation.

The best in class

If Apple made cheap slightly underpowered handheld emulation devices… they’d have made something not unsimilar to this. It’s really quite a lump of metal and glass! Quality is very, very good -almost too good as… inside there is still the same old RK3326 which powers most of these (and often much cheaper) devices and the performance is weak at times. It’s fine for the 8-bit and 16-bit consoles, but even the PlayStation emulator is not running at 100% for all games. N64 and Dreamcast, PSX and some of the newer arcade emulation is not good enough really - low frame rates and choppy sound. I took the plunge because I wanted nice little “pick up and play” device on a budget of around £100 - it’s a gamble, as I don’t know when they’ll upgrade the chip! I would also do that a 3.5 inch display probably too small for many games to be played enjoyably and perhaps a 5 inch display with a new cpu and this build quality is pretty much perfect.
