The MINISFORUM GK50 is an energy-efficient mini PC from MINISFORUM, the makers of hit NUC MINI PCs such as the X400 and the DMAF5.
The GK50 is powered by an Intel Pentium N5030 which runs at a very low base clock of 1.1GHz in order to maximize power efficiency when not under active use. This is offset however by its blazing fast 3.10GHz boost clock which it can speed up to while under load.
This is supported by 8GB of on-board LPDDR4 RAM which is comfortable enough for everyday use in the home or office, whether it be online shopping or acting as a mini PC for video calls, the GK50 can handle it with ease.
Contained within the GK50 is a fast M.2 SATA SSD with a capacity of 128GB or 256GB, and if you require more space, you can expand the storage further thanks to the 2.5-inch SATA drive bay in the unit, and the microSD card slot present on the side of the unit.
The GK50 is capable of supporting two displays at 4K@60Hz simultaneously – one via HDMI, and one via Displayport, allowing for increased productivity
There are also four USB 3.0 ports present on the front of the device, ensuring you’ll have all the space you need for a variety of perhipherals.3.5mm audio jack is also present, enabling a more flexible audio setup.
Finally, in terms of connectivity, the GK50 features built-in Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, as well as Gigabit ethernet ensuring that the GK50 fits comfortably within any setup.
