If the Anniversary Update has not been installed yet, the Copyright shown will indicate 2015. Hold down the Windows Flag key on your keyboard/controller, then tap the Pause/Break key (on some controllers you will need to also hold down a FN or similar modifier for Pause/Break). You can release both now. Check the © date within “Windows edition”. If you don’t have any luck with this keyboard combination, you can right click on “This Computer” in Windows Explorer, and select properties, or access it via the Control Panel.

Still need to continue?

First run Windows Update (click the Start button then type in  UPDATE  , you’ll find the  Check for Updates  entry there, and ensure all available updates have been installed. Now clear at least 8Gb of free space on your C drive. If you’re not sure how much space you have left, hold down the Windows Flag key on your controller, then tap the E key. You can release both now. Scroll down to and click on “This PC”. You should see the storage space available for each drive. If you’ve changed from the default view, right click on the C: drive and and select Properties.

If you still see Windows 10 Home with a ©2015 Microsoft… message (rather than 2016), something went wrong. Reboot your device, run the program once again, and keep an eye out for any error messages or questions you may have missed during the first attempt.

If it fails again, please make a note of exactly how much free disk space you have, and include it in your e-mail requesting support, along with your DroiX order ID.
